My desire to push human performance has been fueled and demonstrated by my drive to help patients return to their chosen endeavors. As a teenager, I discovered that I was too small to accomplish my dream of playing as an offensive lineman at the college level. I knew that I had to be stronger and quicker than my opponent, so I started learning everything that I could about human performance. I quickly became one of the strongest athletes on my team and earned a scholarship to an NAIA University where I had the opportunity to play as a 4-year starter.

At this university, I earned a B.S. in Exercise Science and began working as a Strength and Conditioning coach in the private sector. I soon accepted an offer to return to my alma mater as the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach and the Assistant Defensive Line Coach. After coaching at the collegiate level, I transitioned into operating a CrossFit facility.

Early in my career, I found myself frustrated by healthcare providers who simply told clients to stop training. I wanted to be able to offer people a better solution, which is why I decided to go back to school, where I pursued my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. While in PT school, I was given the opportunity to complete my final clinical rotation at EXOs, where I would help to prepare collegiate football players for the NFL draft and rehabilitate NFL veterans for the coming season. During this time, I learned how to manipulate training and rehab variables to allow these athletes to train while nursing multiple injuries.

After I graduated from PT school, I continued to take advantage of opportunities to achieve my dream of working with athletes. I have now worked with all types of athletes, including NFL athletes, MLB athletes, CrossFit Games athletes, weekend warriors, and the average person that wants to regain their health and wellness.
